New KGD Model Merchandising Draws Big Sales for Minto Communities

What builder wouldn't love to have 16 sales within the first 2 months of their model home opening? That's exactly what happened when Minto Communities in South Florida opened their Capri model at Olympia. The Wellington, Florida community opened in early 2011, to a crowd of interest in their five new model homes: The Capri, Serrano, Tiarra, Mirador and Callista. The homes were revealed to boast luxurious living in five distinct floor plans that suit a complete variety of family lifestyles.

Kay Green Design was delighted to work with Minto Communities, and produce 2011 Aurora Award winning model homes interior merchandising for this stellar builder client. We invite you to visit their website www.mintofla.com to see all of their new home products.

Kay Green Design supports Breast Cancer Awareness
Designers For Finding a Cure! Kay Green Design staff was eager to wear pink to the office, in honor of the fight against breast cancer.

While many of our staff members were out of the office, installing beautiful model homes for our clients, those who were able to participate in this year's photo were happy to support such a great cause. Thanks KGD team, and thanks to Mayor Buddy Dyer, for declaring October 21st, 2011 as Orlando's official PinkTober day!

Las Vegas 2009 International Builders Show Proved to be a Busy and Bustling Show All Around!

While attendance numbers did not turn out as strong as previous years, those who were present were ready to learn, gain new building and designing techniques, and just plain get down to business.

"We were very pleased with the interest in our presentations," said Kay Green, President, "and in the opportunity we had to make new connections with builders that are ready to market their projects using a professional interior merchandiser."

Kay Green performed an encore of last year's builder show participation. Kay Green Design presented a total of five programs. The company's efforts taught attendees how to create Amazing Spaces, leverage 109 Marketing Ideas in 2009, design a Powerful Kitchen, and target the Generation X & Y home buyers. See our presentations page for additional information on the seminars.

The Design Firm's Annual Appreciation Lunch for Local Fire Fighters was highly appreciated!
This year's Fire Fighters took us "sky high" when we brought a home-cooked lunch spread to them in appreciation for their service to our community. On September 11th, 2008, Kay Green Design put their culinary skills to work and delivered lunch to the fire stations that serve our office and warehouse. The design firm provided Osso Bucco, corn souffle, green bean casserole, taco salad, broccoli salad, crab wontons, empenadas, artichoke dip, chocolate cookies, brownies and pistachio salad. As a gesture of thanks, the fire fighters took the KGD team up in their fire truck bucket up to 100 feet! It was an honor to serve those who serve us daily, on a day of rememberance.
