A 20-year instructor of the IRM III certification course, Green continues to teach builders, architects and designers how to market homes through merchandising. At the 2006 International Builder’s Show, Green taught a two day IRM course, spoke at two seminars and chaired The Nationals, the nation’s largest competition for new-home sales and marketing professionals and communities.

As the National Sales and Marketing Council chairman, Kay Green was instrumental in the foundation of the Trina Ripley Excellence in Education Award in 1989.

The personal connection between Kay Green and Trina Ripley makes the award even more meaningful to Green. “I am honored to receive the award, as Trina was a close friend of mine,” she says.

The award is sponsored by the National Sales and Marketing Council, part of the National Association of Home Builders, and was presented to Green during the IRM commencement breakfast at the International Builders’ Show on January 11.
